It's Been Real

This will be my last post on Blogger. I created the blog for a specific reason that doesn't exist anymore. I'm still leaving the account open so that I can comment on other blogs though.

If you want to keep up with me, I do post regularly on LiveJournal. See the link for "Much Ado About...Whatever!" in the links section of my Blogger. If you don't have an LJ account you can comment anonymously. Please type your name with your comments though so that I know who you are.

The last six months in Blogger have been wonderful. Your comments have helped me through many bad days and kept me going when I needed a lift. Thank you. You are truly missed.

Take care,

Tuesday

It was a day.

It was gray, rainy and chilly again yesterday, which matched my mood. Then, thank you Murphy's Law, my internet was down when I got home last night. I hid in my room and read a book most of the night. I left my room at midnight to get a drink before going to bed, looked at the modem and the cable light was back on. But I was tired and didn't feel like dealing with bills and email at that hour so I ignored it and went to bed.

Too many gray moods these days...I really need to snap out of it.

Back to work...

Thank God It's Over

Yesterday was Monday, through and through. I'm glad it's over. Tuesday is starting off just as aggravating, but my mood is better. Perhaps it was the wine. :)

Have a faboo day!

Happy Easter!

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

The family and I went to church this morning. After the first service we headed to my folks house. My Mom had an Easter egg hunt for the kids, then gave all of us our Easter Baskets.

After looking through the baskets we sat down to a mid-day meal. Ham, fresh green beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, a couple of jello salads, crescent rolls and friut salad. OH...and, of course, deviled eggs. Yummmm! No food for me for the next three days...that was a heck of a feast. :)

We spent the rest of the day laughing and talking with my family. It was a little rough on Stan. This is his first Easter without his Mom. We always did Easter Egg hunts and dinner at her house every year, so she was truly missed.

Time to tuck the little one in....

Hi

Happy Monday! How's it going?

My weekend was fairly quiet. Kat spent Friday night at a friends house. Saturday morning hubby and I took Em out to breakfast, then we went to Target to pick up a few items. Em LOVES shopping! She's outgrown most of her clothing so we picked up a few outfits for her, including an Easter dress. And everything we bought was pink. Of course. When you're a four year old princess, what other color is there? :)

Saturday evening we went to my Mom's for dinner to celebrate my bro in law's b-day. We BBQ'd hamburgers and hot dogs and had fries and shakes to go with them. Good ol' American food. :)Sunday we went to church, got groceries then went home and did housework. And that's about it.

Class is getting ready start so I have to scoot. Have a wonderful day!

Soooo Glad It's Friday!

Happy Friday!

Work was crazy this week. My class schedule changed faster than a hooker's clientele. My rosters changed about as quickly too. We require a score of 80% to pass our classes. We have one manager that decided to send his staff through an endless cycle of training because he wants them all to score 90% or better. @@&!%#*&*#^&*#^ WTF EVAR!! What good does it do for these people to review the same materials and take the same test over and over again. If they're struggling that much, COACH them! That's what managers are supposed to do!

*The rant is over...chilling out...sorry*

So thankfully it's Friday...as of today it's all good! :)

My computer was acting funny last night. When I logged in, it started to load Windows, then went black, then started booting again. I had to start Windows in the last known configuration before it would load. SL was running laggy for me. My internet was slow. So I logged out of SL and spent the evening running maintenance on my computer. I tried logging in again this morning and it did the same thing. I ran a check disc and it found a corrupted file. It repaired it, so hopefully that takes care of the problem. I'd hate for it to die on me...being without a computer is like missing a limb. Yes...I am a geek.

We're celebrating my brother-in-law's b-day at my Mom's house tomorrow. Other than that, we don't have any real plans for the weekend. The house needs a deep cleaning so that's probably what we'll do.

I picked my girls up from my Mom's last night. I missed them SO much, and I am soooo glad they're home. I plan to spend extra time hugging on them ( which Em will love and Kat will hate). LOL

Have a wonderful day and a fabulous weekend!

Murphy's Law

My husband and I met for dinner at Red Lobster last night. We planned to go to church afterwards to catch part of the Wednesday night program. By the time I got to the restaurant, my stomach was bothering me, I felt a little queasy and I really wasn't hungry. :( I ended up eating a bowl of soup and a couple biscuits. I finally get out of the house for dinner and I couldn't enjoy it. Boo hoo...sob story...done whining now. I ended up going home after dinner and chilling for an hour or so before going to bed.

Today is an odd day at work. The class I was supposed to teach yesterday afternoon was moved to this afternoon and I have two short workshops to teach this morning. I need to finish making copies, so back to work.

Have a wonderful day!!!
