Continued Stupidity and French-Canadian Leprechauns

Yes, I did it again. 2:00AM. I am sooo ready to pass out. Is it nap time yet?

I had the funniest time in SL last night.

The evening started normally enough. I logged in and did a lil' Christmas shopping for some of my SL friends. I hope everyone likes what I got them. Trav IM'd me when he logged in. He had done some more work on the roof of his skybox and wanted me to see the changes. It's friggin' awesome. He has a gorgeous fountain, lots of plants, some dance balls, hammocks and some other stuff up there. I wish my own roof looked like that. LOL

I haven't been to The Red Wolf in a while, and I saw that there were actually people there last night so we decided to go dancing. I had a great time. Telc, Mir, Stormy, Iron and Lys were there. Conversation with that group is never boring...you never know where the topic is going to go. (Yes you do....Mir and Iron were there, it always gets turned around to body parts and sex). LOL

Everyone at the Red Wolf (except me) logged off by 11:00. I went back to my home and started boxing up the Christmas gifts I bought. Around 11:45 or so, Metal logged in. We decided to go exploring around Sanctum Sanctorum (AWESOME sim...a MUST see). The castle ruins they have there are incredible! The colors, the textures, the build itself...everything about it is neat.

On to the funny part....
At Sanctum Sanctorum there is an Irish Pub. Metal and I decided to go check it out. Outside the pub there is a garden area with some dance poses arranged around a fountain, so we decided to do a little salsa. The first set we jumped on not only salsa'd, but it spun in circles at a dizzying pace...I felt like I had vertigo just watching it. So we tried another set and it had the salsa without the dizzying spin.

While we were dancing, some guy named Roland made a comment about looking under the table to find the Brigid that was talking, but he couldn't see her. I looked all over the place but I didn't see anyone, so I made a comment about how there must be leprechauns there because I couldn't see a body to go with the voice. Someone named Moon joined in the conversation and we had a hysterical three way conversation about invisible people and leprechauns.

After a few minutes, Metal piped in and said "What the hell are you talking about?" I said "Roland...the guy talking to us. I called him a leprechaun because I can't see him". Metal thought I was hallucinating, because for some reason, I could see Roland and Moon's chat, and he couldn't. It was SOOOO funny because Metal and I would talk, Roland would make a comment, I would respond to Roland, and Metal would tell me I'm not making sense...LOL

Finally I asked Roland and Moon to shout so that Metal would believe I'm not a psychotic that forgot to take my happy pills. Metal was so relieved when they shouted and he heard them...I think he was truly worrying about my sanity...hahahahhaa.

We stopped dancing and went inside the pub, and we finally found Roland and Moon sitting at a corner table with a girl named Janelle. The pub itself is AMAZING...simply gorgeous, with a LOT of attention to detail. Metal and I joined Roland et al at the table for some Guinness and conversation. They were such a fun couple! They are newlyweds in RL, and they are having a BALL playing SL together. Roland is a frenchman that moved to Canada, and he is quite a character. They've only been in SL a couple of months. Metal asked them what they've done since they've joined and simultaneously they typed "HAD SEX"! LMAO...it was a hoot.

Anyway, we had such a fun time talking with them that I lost track of the clock. When I looked up again it was 2:00am. UGH! I'm exhausted! But the evening was worth it. I love exploring cool places and making cool new friends.
