Daughter Stuff

Happy Wednesday! We are halfway to Saturday, life is good. :)

I returned home yesterday to find a purple-lipped daughter. Em tripped holding a Lego bin at school and landed on it lip first. Poor bunny. :( She said she cried but her friend Devyn made her laugh so she felt better. What a sweetie!

My girls go to a Christian school. They call the week before spring break a mini-mester, and the high school students either go on mission trips or complete some of their volunteer hours at home. We plan to send Kathleen on one of the trips next year, but this year she opted to work in the school office for her volunteer time. Poor thing...she knows what working a real job is like now. She comes home complaining of exhaustion. "They're working me to death Mom. I'm just so busy. It's wearing me out!" Tee hee hee. I get a perverse delight in hearing that. Now she has some idea of what Mom and Dad go through every day. The school tells me she does great work though. I am so proud of her.

I had an offline IM last night saying that someone had given me inventory in SL so I logged in around 11:30 to see what it was. I managed to catch Iron online so we were able to chat for a few before he logged for the night. He told me that he was just hired as the Thursday night DJ at House of Tunes. I'm so happy for him! I know he loves the music and the club. He'll do a fantastic job for them, and his presence is sure to bring in a lot of new business. I'm proud of you darlin! You are Teh Awesomeness!

I logged off after 15 minutes and went to bed. I can't seem to get enough sleep lately. I think I'm going to hit the hay early and try to get some serious sleep.

My student's study time is almost over so I need to prepare for their test review. I am so glad this group finishes the class today. I am ready for a little bit of down time. Not that it's much. I teach three one hour workshops tomorrow and a full day class on Friday.
