Happy Monday :)

I hope your weekend was awesome!

Kathleen went to her friend Amanda's house on Saturday so I spent a lot of one on one time with Emily. She is such a joy to be with. She is smart, silly, energetic and so loving. Emily plays pretty well independently, but every ten minutes or so she has to run over to me and make sure I'm still there, to give me a hug and a kiss and to tell me something sweet. I cannot imagine life without her sunshine.

Emily played on her sit and spin this weekend. The model she owns plays music, and one song in particular caught her attention. The song has a rockin' guitar sound. She'd push the buttons on the toy until that song came on then she spun as fast as she could while the song played. She cracked me up...when the song ended Emily would lean over, one leg out, the other bent, throw her arms up in the air in a model pose and shout "ta daaaaa"! She is hysterical.

Sunday we went to church. Brilliant me forgot about daylight savings time. I thought I arrived before first service was over, turns out we got there just after second service started. LOL
Thankfully I didn't have nursery duty or there would have been some angry parents. :) After church we hung out at the house for a while. Stan dropped Kathleen off at a birthday party. Emmy and went to my parents house for dinner (Emily's favorite- spaghetti and meatballs). My sister showed me the funniest video on You Tube. I can't access it at work to get the link, but if you go to You Tube and type "A Bitter Story" in search you should be able to find it. Look for a video about a stick figure. It's hilarious!!

I wasn't able to spend much time in SL this weekend. Friday and Saturday nights I wasn't on for very long...I think an hour Friday and two hours Saturday. Honestly, I can't even remember what I did so it couldn't have been very exciting. LOL

Sunday night when I got home from my folks I logged into SL and went to House of Tunes. I ran into Iron and Lys there...that was a nice surprise. Fiery was hosting. She is such a riot...her name truly matches her personality. I enjoyed dancing and talking and giving Iron a hard time. Stormy is out of town and I know he misses her a lot. (((HUGS))) to him. :)
Travis joined me at HoT about 20 minutes after Iron and Lys left for the JY.

HoT lagged too much for Travis so we went to see the lot he just purchased. The one he looked at on Thursday was purchased by someone else (he didn't get the money from selling his lot on Quentin until yesterday) so he found a new spot. The lot he bought really isn't fit for building on...it's small and has an odd shape. So he put the skybox up. He plans to keep buying cheap land, living there a few months, then selling it for a profit.

My landlord remodeled my condo while Travis was gone so he came over to see the changes. I used to have an unobscured beach view from my window. Last week a gay artist from France built a home/gallery in front of my unit. His windows have a bunch of naked men doing all kinds of things etched into them. There went my view. The art he has inside the house is even more graphic. Travis used camera tricks to look inside and his comment was "Ow! My eyes...my eyes!" LOL! Travis's wife just published a children's book. He is so proud of her (with good reason...she rocks!). After the grand tour of the condo we just hung out and talked for a while. That was my grand evening. :)

I missed an important anniversary on February 11th. I don't know how it slipped my mind this year, but to Pete and Payton, I hope you're hanging in there. I've been thinking about you. It's been seven years and I think of Beth often and I still miss her smile. I hope one day you'll have the answer.

Have a wonderful day!
Brig
