Celebrations

Last night on SL the Junkyard celebrated Lysandra and Giulia's engagement. They actually met at the Yard on Star Trek night...I think that's kind of funny :)

That's the first time in ages I've seen the yard that full. Of course, I only get there maybe once a week myself. The Pope could be there with a large following every night and I wouldn't know the difference :)

And speaking of rare appearances, it was nice to see Iron there. He showed up smoking a stogie that was almost as big as his head. I don't know about anyone else, but I've missed his wise-cracking presence there.

Yesterday was also Sofia's birthday. She was tickled that everyone in the Yard took the time to IM her and wish her a happy one.

After I left the Yard I went exploring with a buddy of mine for a little while. We checked out a sim called Tableau. They have an awesome underwater cavern there. And you get a beautiful view of the sunset there from the top of the volcano. You can also roast yourself over a spit as a sacrifice to the gods...LOL
