Weekends

What is it about weekends? Doesn't matter if it's a good one or a bad one, they always pass too quickly.

Most of my weekend was spent on everyday schtuff; cleaning and errands and whatnot. We did go out for brunch on Saturday morning, and Saturday evening we walked around the neighborhood to look at the neighbors Christmas decorations. Emmy was happy...when we returned home we feasted on cookies and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Sunday I spent most of the afternoon in a stuffy lodge room helping a youth organization that my parents are involved in. UGH! Not my favorite way to kill four hours.

Last night in SL Metal, Sofia, Aiko and Thunder came over to my condo. My landlady remodeled the unit a little and now I have a big bare spot to fill...everyone had an opinion on how to fill it. Metal suggested putting in a futon and filling the wall with pictures. Then he proceeded to give me several pictures of himself and Sofia to hang up. Tempting as it is (ha ha), I refuse to have a Metal and Sofia memorial wall in my home...although a few of the pics were funny...I might have to display a couple of them. Like the one I took of Sofia spinning around in my washing machine. :)

Sofia came up with the great idea of waiting to add something to that spot until after Christmas so that I could put up a tree. BINGO! Metal and Aiko had to leave for dinner and Thunder had homework to finish so Sofia and I visited Ramos and Winterland to try and find the perfect tree. Both of us found ones we liked, plus she picked up a Charlie Brown tree for Metal. The decorations go up tonight.

Nothing else going on except for life being lived...
