Surprise! A Saturday Post

Woohoo! The weekend is here! I usually don't post on the weekends, and I'm not much of a writer, but I felt inspired to write something today.

I've been busy updating my new homepage on Kaneva. If you are interested in taking a look at it, use this link: http://www.kaneva.com/channel/KirEmiKat.people.
Any feedback you have on the layout or what I can add to improve the site would be greatly appreciated. I'm curious to see how Kaneva's virtual world compares to Second Life once it comes out of beta.

I had a really good time in Second Life last night. The evening started with the Friday beach party at the McCallister's house. Iron provided the music. He also provided quite a show when he stripped down to his rainbow speedo and danced to YMCA for us. Yowza! Those are some scary britches, but I have to say, that man has some HAWT pixels! *LOL* The usual band of miscreants attended the party. Mir and I amused (or scared) everyone with our special multi-penis hula skirts. HAHAHA Those things are a riot.

Iron and Taco left for the ER around 9:00; Iron to DJ and Taco to host. Earlier in the week I had promised Taco a dance so I gussied up and met him at the ER so we could salsa. It gave me a good excuse to go listen to/talk with/harass Iron some more. hehehe The annoying twins, Ming and An, were there harassing Taco, so he decided to use me as his human shield (the little fink). I had to deflect all of the twins "peenching" for him. By the end of the night they were scared of me though. They wouldn't mess with Iron either when I told them I was guarding him too. LOL

Taco was IMing with Elex the entire time we danced so we really didn't talk much. I spent most of my ER time IMing with Iron. I've had the opportunity to talk with him a lot more in SL lately, and it's been a real treat. We had a long spell where we really didn't talk much or see each other much in the virtual world and I really missed him.

Around 1:30am, I left the ER and headed back to my condo. I had the smooth jazz station playing, the view set to midnight and the fire going. It was so peaceful and relaxing, so what did I do? Re-arranged furniture. *LOL*

I had planned to logoff around 2:00, but Metal returned from his trip to San Jose. I hadn't seen him for several days so I stayed on to talk with him for a while. He had never been to Phat Cats before, so we ended up going there. We had a great time dancing and talking. So great, in fact , that I lost all track of time and didn't end up logging off until 4:45am. Sheesh! I'm so sleepy today that I had to attach the IV coffee drip. *LOL*

Anyway, Friday night was awesome. I love it when I get to spend time talking with some of the greatest people on this planet. I've been blessed with some incredible friends. I am so grateful that they're in both my first and second lives. They make each day worthwhile.

Okay, I've yammered on long enough. Have a SUPERB weekend!
