Does *NOT* Want To Be An Accountant

Yesterday I returned home to a beautiful sight...a new roof. The workers managed to get it done in a day. They just have some of the fascia to replace now. The new roof is a wonderful thing. :)

Last night I refrained from playing SL. Instead, I worked on the Income Tax returns. Oh Joy! Oh Bliss! NOT!!!! I can't imagine a job more boring than that of an accountant. Crunching numbers all day is not my thing. I gathered all the appropriate documentation and ran a rough calculation and, wonder of wonders, we are getting a pretty hefty refund this year. Yay!!! Wootage!!!

Last night proved that kids are never too old or too cool to need their parents. Kathleen came in my bedroom around 3:30am and asked if she could sleep next to me. Apparently she had a rather wicked nightmare and was scared to be in her room alone. I was so surprised! It's rare that my teen wants to snuggle with me. It's nice to feel wanted and needed. And it was nice to snuggle with her...it's been a loooooong time. :)

Here's hoping your day is Teh Fabulousness!
